JetBlue wins up to 12 roundtrip Spirit slots at LaGuardia Airport

JetBlue Airways has won takeoff and landing slots previously held by Spirit Airlines at New York's LaGuardia Airport, covering up to 12 roundtrip flights daily. The carrier is also considering a move to the Marine Air Terminal as airlines compete intensely for space at one of the US's busiest airports. Spirit's collapse has opened opportunities for rivals to expand their LaGuardia presence.
