Ten killed as Russia intensifies attacks on Black Sea merchant ships

Russian strikes on merchant shipping in the Black Sea have intensified, killing ten people. Attacks on the Odesa region alone have claimed 28 lives in July. The escalation raises global food supply concerns as Ukraine — responsible for around 6% of world wheat exports and 11% of corn exports — has lost about a third of its Black Sea port export capacity.
