Hondata acquired by private equity firm that already owns Cobb Tuning and AutoMeter

The private equity group that already owns Cobb Tuning, PRL and AutoMeter has acquired Hondata, a legendary Honda engine tuning brand, as confirmed to Motor1. Hondata has for decades supplied software and hardware for modifying Honda engine management systems. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
