Russia aimed to recruit 34,400 drone operators – managed to find only 8,000

Russia's Defence Ministry fell far short of its drone-unit recruitment target, securing only 8,000 of a planned 34,400 personnel. The independent Conflict Intelligence Team says the main reason is students' reluctance to sign military contracts. The shortfall is the latest sign of Russia's growing manpower difficulties.
