EU Sugar Output to Drop Nearly 15% in 2026/27 Season

The European Commission forecasts that EU sugar production in the 2026/27 season will fall by nearly 15% compared to the previous season. The main reason is a reduction in sugar beet cultivation area. The information was shared by the Association of Sugar Producers in Poland.
