Reverse plank: the bridge exercise strengthening core, glutes and back
The reverse plank is an isometric exercise performed in the opposite position to the classic plank — supported on straight arms and heels. It engages the hamstrings, glutes and core, and is especially recommended for improving posture or rebuilding strength after pregnancy. A week-long challenge revealed that holding the position for a full minute is harder than it looks, but results come surprisingly quickly.
