Alcoholism among thirty-somethings: daily drinking hidden behind a normal façade
Hania, like many women in their thirties, did not consider herself an alcoholic despite regularly buying beer, wine, whisky and gin, enough to last a few days. She would start drinking at work and go out for cocktails in the evenings. Her story reflects a broader, largely hidden problem of alcohol addiction among young adults who appear to be coping well on the surface.
