Drunk driver with 2.7‰ on A1 motorway sent home — prosecutors probe decision

On Saturday evening, citizens detained an aggressive drunk driver on the A1 motorway who had 2.7 per mille of alcohol and two prior driving bans. The man tried to flee and swap seats with his passenger. Despite this, the duty prosecutor released him home without any supervision. The Regional Prosecutor's Office in Częstochowa has launched an internal inquiry into the decision.
