Russia recruited only 8,000 of 34,400 planned drone warfare specialists

Russia's Ministry of Defence failed to meet its recruitment targets for units operating unmanned systems (VBS). Only around 8,000 specialists were enlisted out of a planned 34,400. The shortfall represents a significant personnel gap in Russia's drone warfare capabilities.
