EU fines AliExpress €550 million for allowing sale of dangerous products

The European Commission on Monday fined Chinese e-commerce giant AliExpress €550 million (approximately PLN 2.38 billion) for failing to stop the sale of illegal and dangerous products on its platform. Brussels accused AliExpress of inadequate action to protect consumers. The EU commissioner described the goods as "very dangerous for our consumers."
