Emu near Lubliniec and kangaroo near Rzeszów — exotic animals on the loose in Poland

Poland has seen a string of exotic animal escapes in recent weeks. A resident of Lubliniec spotted an emu in a forest — the bird almost certainly fled a private farm, as emu chicks sell in Poland for around 600 złoty. Separately, a kangaroo is being searched for near Rzeszów. Earlier reports of a puma in Polish forests were not ultimately confirmed after a filmed cat proved too small.
