EU fines AliExpress record €550 million for DSA violations
The European Commission has fined Chinese platform AliExpress €550 million for violations of the Digital Services Act (DSA), including the sale of counterfeit goods and products failing EU safety standards. It is the largest fine ever imposed under the DSA. AliExpress, whose products are also sold in Poland, argues the penalty is disproportionate to the violations.
