Both sides face missile shortages — Russia and Ukraine in arms impasse

Russia is increasingly exploiting Ukraine's shortages of advanced air-defence systems, but is itself struggling to produce enough ballistic missiles. Ukraine cannot keep pace with replenishing its most sophisticated rocket systems, while Russian production capacity is overstretched. Both sides of the conflict have reached the limits of their weapons-production capabilities.
