Braniewo hospital: doctor earned 1.8 mln PLN while roof leaked

A hospital in Braniewo, where one doctor earned 1.8 million PLN in 2024, operated in what the local district head described as a "family affair" system of governance. Despite the enormous salaries paid out, the facility had no funds to repair a leaking roof. The case reveals serious management failures at the public medical institution.
