AliExpress fined €550 million for illegal product sales violating EU's Digital Services Act
The European Commission fined AliExpress €550 million (approximately $629 million) for violating the EU's Digital Services Act (DSA). The platform failed to take effective measures to prevent the sale of illegal, unsafe, and counterfeit products. It is one of the largest fines issued under DSA rules to date.
