Germany pushes again for Pistorius–Hegseth meeting in September

German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius is seeking a meeting with US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth during his planned September visit to the United States. A spring meeting between the two officials fell through. If the September visit proceeds, it will be the second attempt at direct contact this year.
