UK Gets Its Seventh PM in a Decade as Burnham Replaces Starmer

Keir Starmer delivered his farewell speech outside 10 Downing Street on July 20 and formally tendered his resignation to King Charles. Andy Burnham was then received at Buckingham Palace and appointed Britain's 59th prime minister. He is the country's seventh head of government in the space of a single decade.
