James Gray to receive honorary Pardo award at Locarno Film Festival

American director James Gray will be honoured with the Pardo alla Carriera lifetime achievement award at the 79th Locarno Film Festival. The ceremony is scheduled for August 9, ahead of an open-air screening of his film "Paper Tiger" on the iconic Piazza Grande, which seats 8,000. Gray joins a distinguished list of filmmakers recognised by one of Europe's leading film festivals.
