Poland targets doctor "bilocation" — hospitals to report shift schedules to NFZ
Poland's health ministry has sent a draft regulation to public consultation that would require hospitals to report doctors' hourly shift schedules to the National Health Fund (NFZ). The aim is to detect so-called "bilocation" — cases where a doctor claims to have provided services in two different places at the same time. The new rules are intended to tighten the billing system and curb financial irregularities.
