Lockheed Martin unveils PAC-3 ACE missile at less than half the cost of PAC-3 MSE

Lockheed Martin has unveiled the PAC-3 Adapted Capability Effector (ACE), a new interceptor missile for the Patriot air-defence system. The manufacturer states the ACE will cost less than half the price of the current PAC-3 MSE round. The lower cost is intended to allow operators to stockpile more missiles within existing budgets.
