Bieszczady best spot in Poland for Perseid meteor shower viewing

The Bieszczady mountains in south-east Poland have the darkest skies in the country, making them the top location for viewing the annual Perseid meteor shower. Low population density and the absence of large cities minimise light pollution, allowing meteors to be seen clearly with the naked eye. The Perseids peak each year in mid-August.
