Bayeux Tapestry arrives in London in "wonderful state", French minister says
The Bayeux Tapestry, the 11th-century embroidery depicting the Norman conquest of England, has arrived in London for the first time in centuries. France's culture minister told the BBC the nearly 70-metre-long artefact is in "a wonderful state" following its journey from Normandy. The loan is a landmark moment in Franco-British cultural relations.
