Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" earned $264m (£196m) globally in its opening weekend, making it his best inflation-adjusted debut since "The Dark Knight Rises" in 2012, according to Universal Pictures. The blockbuster adaptation of Homer's ancient Greek epic stars Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway and Zendaya as the story follows Odysseus on his 10-year journey home after the Trojan War. The film is distributed by Universal Pictures.
