Wildfire burns 16,000 hectares in La Mierla, Spain; 800 people evacuated

A wildfire has burned through 16,000 hectares of forest around La Mierla in central Spain and continues to spread. More than 800 residents from 20 different localities have been evacuated due to the danger. Hundreds of firefighters are battling the blaze in difficult weather conditions.
