Wirtualna Polska recovers PLN 66.8 m in overpaid corporate tax from 2020–2024

Wirtualna Polska Media, a subsidiary of Wirtualna Polska Holding, recognised an additional profit of PLN 66.8 million in its Q2 2026 results. The gain stems from a correction of overpaid corporate income tax (CIT) for the years 2020–2024, reclaimed under the IP Box tax relief scheme. The one-off windfall gives a significant boost to the group's bottom line.
