British granny wins law change allowing alcohol in care homes without a licence

Anita Le Brun, the public face of a campaign to allow care homes to serve alcohol without a licence, is celebrating after achieving a change in UK law. Care homes can now offer alcohol during events such as Happy Hour without requiring a licence.
