Karwia: 987 residents but up to 50,000 tourists a day in summer
Karwia is a small Baltic Sea village in the Pomeranian region with just 987 permanent residents. At the height of the summer season, between 30,000 and 50,000 tourists arrive daily, according to the village head Bartosz Agata. The resort attracts crowds largely due to its affordable prices.
