Expert: Poland doesn't need a large hospital in every county
Prof. Monika Raulinajtys-Grzybek of SGH argues that Poland's hospital system needs deep reform, with counties beginning to realise they cannot sustain the current model. She warns that banning commercial companies from hospitals could cause staffing problems in emergency departments. The NFZ is effectively rolling over debt, and the current pay and employment system is irrational, requiring a "hard cut".
