Oil prices hit June highs as US–Iran tensions escalate

On Monday 20 July, oil prices climbed to their highest level since mid-June, driven by escalating tensions between the United States and Iran. The conflict in the Middle East is fuelling market anxiety over supply disruptions. Higher crude prices are expected to feed through to petrol prices at Polish forecourts.
