Polish Medical Council chief: doctors won't obstruct healthcare reforms

Łukasz Jankowski, president of the Supreme Medical Council (NRL), told Rzeczpospolita on Monday that the medical community will not block healthcare system reforms. He added, however, that doctors expect the reforms to benefit both patients and all participants in the system. The statement comes amid ongoing tensions between Prime Minister Tusk's government and the medical profession.
