BYD Australia customers received 2025 cars instead of 2026 models — full refund offered

Australian BYD customers paid for 2026 model-year cars but received 2025 vehicles instead. The Chinese automaker says the cars are technically identical and the discrepancy stems from an administrative error in model-year labelling. Affected customers are entitled to a full refund or a replacement vehicle with the correct model year.
