The Polish government is preparing new regulations for electric scooters, covering mandatory type approval and parking rules for rental devices. However, Warsaw's Road Management Authority (ZDM) points out that the draft still ignores the legal status of sharing companies. "We still have a legal void on this, and the ministry's changes continue to sidestep it," says ZDM spokesperson Jakub Dybalski. The industry awaits comprehensive regulation.
