Japanese Logistics Firm Plans to Pay Drivers Using JPYC Stablecoin

A Japanese logistics company is planning to use the JPYC yen-pegged stablecoin to pay thousands of transportation contractors. The rollout would allow drivers to receive their wages more frequently and quickly than through conventional banking. It would be one of the first large-scale deployments of a yen-backed stablecoin in the transport sector.
