Mike Flanagan Adapts Stephen King's "Carrie" as HBO Max Series

Director Mike Flanagan, known for "Midnight Mass" and "The Haunting of Hill House," is adapting Stephen King's debut novel "Carrie" as a TV series for Amazon MGM Studios under his Red Room Pictures banner. Summer Howell, known from "Curse of Chucky," will star as the misfit teenage protagonist. The novel has previously been adapted into two films, in 1976 and 2013.
