Woman killed in Paris by car with Polish plates travelling at 100 km/h

A woman was killed on Sunday near the Paris Opéra after being struck by a car travelling at around 100 km/h. The vehicle, according to French newspapers Le Figaro and Le Parisien, had Polish licence plates. Two people in the car were detained, while a third fled the scene.
