Heavy TV watching linked to smaller brain structures, USC study finds
A study from the University of Southern California found that people who watch a lot of television have smaller brain structures compared to lighter viewers. The findings suggest a negative association between passive screen time and brain anatomy. Researchers have not yet determined whether TV watching causes the structural differences or whether those with smaller brain structures tend to watch more TV.
