'Interview with the Vampire' Is Streaming's Top Modern Vampire Show

Four years after The Vampire Diaries universe ended on The CW — nine seasons plus two spin-offs, with the final spin-off Legacies cancelled in June 2022 — the title of streaming's best modern vampire series now belongs to Interview with the Vampire. The CW's cancellation of Legacies was part of a broader retreat from scripted programming. Interview with the Vampire has since become a streaming smash hit.
