Lu Dort traded to Mavericks — Thunder clear cap space, Dallas takes a chance

The Oklahoma City Thunder have traded Lu Dort to the Dallas Mavericks, clearing salary cap space in the process. The Mavericks are taking a buy-low swing on the former first overall draft pick. The Atlanta Hawks also figure in the deal, adding another tradeable mid-sized contract to their roster.
