Storms batter Poland: 1,500+ emergency calls, six injured in Małopolska

Severe storms swept across Poland, triggering over 1,500 fire brigade interventions. The worst-hit areas were Małopolska, Silesia and the Lublin region, where strong winds toppled trees and tore roofs off buildings. In Targanice, Wadowice County, a tree fell on a horse-drawn carriage, injuring six people. Poland's meteorological institute IMGW has issued further weather warnings.
