Shelf cloud over Kraków heralded a violent storm

A storm front swept across Poland, and a dramatic shelf cloud was spotted over the Kraków area just before a heavy downpour. Videos of the striking atmospheric phenomenon spread rapidly on social media. The torrential rain followed shortly after the cloud's appearance.
