Magnitude 5.5 earthquake in Peru's Andes kills 5, displaces 300
A magnitude 5.5 earthquake struck the Andes region of Peru on Saturday at 9:24pm local time. The epicentre was located 2km west-south-west of the city of Sicaya in Huancayo province, at a depth of 10km, according to the US Geological Survey. At least five people were killed, more than 20 injured, and around 300 displaced; the number of missing remains unknown.
