Poles work 36 years on average — Dutch work 44, Eurostat shows

According to 2025 Eurostat data, the average working life in Poland lasts 35.9 years, compared to 44 years in the Netherlands — one of the largest gaps in the EU. The figures highlight significant differences in career lengths across European countries. Poland ranks among the countries with shorter working lives in the bloc.
