Saylor: BIP-110 proposal to block Bitcoin blockchain "spam" is a bad idea

Michael Saylor, Bitcoin's most prominent corporate advocate, has come out against BIP-110, a proposal to temporarily filter out "spam" data from the Bitcoin blockchain. He argues the measure would undermine the network's neutrality and set a dangerous precedent for censorship on the blockchain. In Saylor's view, Bitcoin must remain an exception-free network where no transactions receive preferential treatment.
