L7 bassist Jennifer Finch dies of brain cancer aged 59

Jennifer Finch, bassist, singer and songwriter for veteran indie-rock band L7, died on Saturday following a battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer. She was 59 years old. Finch was a well-known figure on the 1990s indie-rock scene and earlier in her career played alongside Courtney Love.
