Polish president to file new referendum request on EU carbon trading reform

The European Commission presented proposals on Friday to reform the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS). Poland's Presidential Palace called the changes a "cosmetic fix" and announced it will file a new national referendum request on EU climate policy within the coming week.
