Biejat: Left won't back Nawrocki's referendum on EU climate policy

Senate Deputy Speaker Magdalena Biejat of the Left party declared on Sunday that her party will not support President Karol Nawrocki's proposed referendum on EU climate policy. She argued that the real goal behind the proposal is to stoke sentiment for Poland's exit from the European Union. Biejat urged citizens not to be misled by the initiative.
