Barnard's Star has four dry, rocky planets with no atmosphere

New analyses of the Barnard's Star planetary system reveal that its four exoplanets are extremely dry, rocky worlds with virtually no atmospheres. Conditions on their surfaces are considered hostile to life. Barnard's Star is one of the Sun's closest stellar neighbours.
