27 glaciers vanished in Bhutan in 9 years as Himalayas shrink by 9.1%

Twenty-seven glaciers in Bhutan have melted over the past nine years due to climate change, according to Asia News Network. Since 2016, the total glacier area in the Himalayan kingdom has shrunk by 9.1%, which scientists regard as a serious warning signal.
