Bundeswehr tests evacuation drones with 50 km range and 135 kg payload

The Bundeswehr is testing unmanned aerial vehicles designed to evacuate wounded soldiers from combat zones. The drones have a range of approximately 50 kilometres and can carry persons weighing up to 135 kilograms. The technology is being developed as an alternative to medevac helicopters in high-risk areas.
