Every degree above 30°C cuts worker productivity by 3% and raises energy use

According to Allianz Trade, temperatures above 30°C significantly hurt economic performance — each additional degree Celsius reduces worker productivity by roughly 3% and increases energy consumption by 1.2%. Extreme heat is becoming a growing macroeconomic risk for countries worldwide.
